“The concept for Uncorked Ventures emerged during a family vacation to South America. While sipping on Pisco Sours along with wines from Chile and Argentina, two brothers-in-law (Matt Krause & Mark Aselstine) discussed their passion for food and wine, as well as their desire for something different, something better.

That something different, something better is Uncorked Ventures

Uncorked Ventures provides its customers with the best wines from California, Washington, and Oregon. A great majority of these wines come from small artisan producers whose wines are not widely available.

By making frequent trips to wine country, we develop relationships with top winemakers that grant us access to the high quality, limited production wines our customers desire.”

Uncorked Ventures Wine Club memberships are great for wine lovers like me! I enjoy tasting a variety of wines and finding new favorites periodically, but being fairly new to wine drinking it can be difficult to really explore different wines since there are so many varieties! It can be a little overwhelming.

I was so thankful to discover Uncorked Ventures and learn that they offer different memberships for you to purchase that include two different types of wine with each shipment either monthly, every other month, or quarterly with a full printed description and history of the wines you are receiving for under $100. It really helps you learn about the brand background, location of the vineyards and of course the wine itself. I love being educated  on things I take an interest in and wine is definitely one of those things.

I received one bottle of Myka Cellars Central Coast Pinot Noir and one bottle of Sharecropper Cabernet Sauvignon both are fantastic wines. My favorite out of the two was the Myka Cellars Pinot Noir. It was such a  lovely sweet tasting, fruity wine. Definitely one I’d choose to enjoy time and time again. The Sharecropper Cabernet Sauvignon was not exactly for my taste, but my fiance who normally does not drink wine, loved it. It does have a fruity taste, but it also had a minty finish I did not enjoy as my as my fiance.

Another thing I love about Uncorked Ventures is that they offer Wine Gift Baskets! Can you think of a better gift to give or receive? Yeah, neither can I! The gift baskets can include chocolates and other gourmet items. I do highly recommend for anyone who has a taste for the finer things in life to check out Uncorked Ventures. Whether it is for yourself, or for a loved one, these deliveries are going to make someone very happy. You will not be disappointed.
