I was super excited for this review because I am a meat and potatoes kind of girl, that is the kind of family we are. But lets be realistic here and admit that it is pretty bad when we eat things that we don’t really know what the ingredients are in them! How many of you love eating hot dogs but never really care to know about what is in them? I know I am guilty!
With Applegate what you see is fresh delectable meats, cheeses and lunch meat and what you get is simple ingredients, no fillers or nitrates, and great tasting natural products!!

I made us BLT’s of course with the bacon and they were perfect. It fried up so great. With the lunch meats and cheeses I made my husband and daughter and myself lunch and we all agreed (well my husband and I agreed, and my daughter just ate) that we have never had such a great tasting sandwich made right at home. You really can taste a difference! The cheddar cheese was great on a grilled cheese and I also read on their website that it can be used for homemade mac & cheese which sounds amazing, so I will be trying that soon.
Last but not least we used the Grilled Chicken Breast Strips for Grilled chicken caesar salads. It was the most simple lunch I ever prepared so I loved it. The chicken was delicious and tender.
Overall I give Applegate 5 stars and I will be shopping at Publix just to purchase their products. I think this was a great start and introduction of Organic/Natural food to my family and I because now we do not want to eat any other meats. We ran out quickly and immediately went to buy more lunch meat because my husband takes sandwiches to lunch at work frequently.
It feels great feeding my family all natural/organic foods.
