Leilani LOVES animals! She talks about different animals all the time. She has tons of animal books! Recently she was sent some animals from Safari Ltd. for us to review.  Two of her most favorite animals (even though it was so hard to have her narrow down her “favorites”) are Dogs and Horses… So, she got a Clydesdale Stallion and a Black Labrador

Leilani was so excited when I pulled these out of the box! She started playing with them right away.

Leilani has a huge amount of other animal figures but really, the quality of these animals is SO much better! You can easily tell by the way they look and feel that these replicas are made with high quality materials and so much detail goes into each animal! Each animal is so beautiful and real looking. They really are amazing!

These great toys have brought so much joy to Leilani! They are a great way to get her using her imagination! Lately she’s been playing with them in her Doll House. Her lucky dolls now own a brand new dog and a horse! Haha.

OUR REVIEW:

My children love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It is one of the shows that when it comes on they will actually watch it together singing along and all! When I heard about Around the Clubhouse World coming to DVD I knew that my kids would love to have it. Boy was I right! My daughter got so excited the second I pulled it out the package and she wanted to watch it right away. FIRST, we put the stickers on her Passport that came along with the DVD, which I LOVED because she got to learn about different foods, clothing styles and land marks associated with all of the different countries the gang travels to.

This DVD is now available and I highly recommend it for your little Disney lovers. They will love watching and traveling the world with Mickey and Friends. They’ll even learn a few new things! This is such a fun movie.

Original sprout hair and Hair & Body Babywash was absolutely wonderful. My daughter’s hair normally dries somewhat crazy and wavy looking but after using the hair and body baby wash from original sprout I could tell that it did not strip her hair of anything and was a very delicate wash. I love that the hair & body baby wash leave your child’s hair and skin clean and super soft, I love that you can use it for babies and children, I love that it will soothe and clear and dry scalp, and I love that it is gentle on eyes.

Original Sprout Deep Conditioner is a conditioner I will use continuously on my daughter’s hair after every shampooing. I love how soft and healthy her hair feels, looks, and smells the shampoo and conditioner both are absolutely lovely. The conditioner is for all hair types, it is rich in moisture and protein. I love that it calms frizzies and tangles because my daughter’s hair dries really frizzy and it’s hard to comb through most times. I also like that it’s easy to rinse off which is more than you can ask for in a conditioner.

The Original Sprout Scrumptious Baby Cream…oh my, where can I start… I absolutely love the scrumptious baby cream! Even for myself. The cream soothes your skin the second you put it on. The smell is delicious and very calming. I put it on my children right out of the bath. It is for all skin types.  I love that it is for delicate skin and it has no greasy residue. I use this as a hand cream too, it leaves your skin feeling amazing. My daughter asks for it multiple times a day because she loves it so much.

Lastly, my favorite product I got to review is the Miracle Detangler. It is tangle and frizz free all you have to do spritz onto wet or dry hair, comb out and enjoy clean, tangle free silky locks! It does exactly what it says it does. My daughter’s hair smells amazing and looks so soft after using this detangler. It makes my life so much easier because my daughter’s hair gets very tangled at times and she is not patient when having to brush out her knots! Even she does not mind when I spray the detangler into her hair and brush it out because she knows that it does not hurt and it works miracles, hence the name miracle detangler!

Aside from all of the wonderful worry free products for babies, Original Sprout  also makes products for moms from their Worry-Free Tahitian Collection. I contacted True Citrus and asked to review their products,because I love True Lime, I  have used it in several recipes before but my favorite thing to use it in is my homemade salsa!

I received a huge assortment of products from True Citrus and I was so very excited to try them.

 The first items I tried were the drink mixes. The drink mixes are 100% natural flavors you add to your water. The flavors include: Original Lemonade, Mango Orange, Peach Lemonade, Black Cherry Limeade and Grapefruit . Each flavor is made with 100% all natural ingredients like real lemons, oranges or grapefruits. I tried and liked them all but my favorite is the Mango Orange. I thought this flavor tasted absolutely delicious. At only 5 to 10 calories per flavor drink mix pack, I could use several packs a day and not feel guilty at all. True Citrus is real flavor from real fruit with no preservatives and no artificial additives. 

 

Other items

True Citrus crystalized lemon, True Orange crystalized orange and True Lime crystalized : Like I said before, I’ve used this product in the past and think it is great. There are a few recipes I use this in. Replacing fresh lime juice with the crystalized lime is so much easier than ensuring you keep fresh limes on hand. I’ve recently just used True Lemon for sprinkling on top of chicken breasts for a quick and easy lemon chicken dinner. For your convenience, this product comes in both a shake bottle and individual packets. The individual packets are also very great for adding a “splash” of lemon to your water while on the go. I love keeping some in my purse especially because I do not trust lemon slices from restaurants.

True Lemon can be used for more than just in your water and cooking with too. You can also use it for marinating!

I also read on the True Citrus website that high grilling temperatures can create dangerous compounds in meat and a new study shows that marinating meats in lemon juice or vinegar can reduce harmful compounds developed during cooking, compounds linked to aging and chronic disease. I received the 12″ Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan to review. I have a huge passion for cooking and so great cookware is a MUST HAVE in my kitchen! It’s hard to find great cookware though that does not cost an arm and a leg, which is why I think it is so important for my readers to be introduced to the Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan.

I use my pan everyday. I feel like I am constantly washing it because it is definitely my new favorite and I prefer to cook anything I can in my Ozeri Green Earth pan. Speaking of washing, it IS dishwasher safe but I refuse to wash it in the dishwasher just because I feel more safe hand washing it. One, it is super easy to wash, and two because I want the non-stick surface to last as long as possible.

A couple of my favorite things about the Green Earth Pan is the fact that the ceramic coating is made without any harmful chemicals. I also love that I do not have to use as much butter or oil as I do in my other frying pans and my food still does not stick to this pan at all. It is amazing! I have fried bacon, french toast, grilled cheese, and some burgers in it so far and noting seems to phase this wonderful pan, and since it is oven safe, I even baked some delicious chicken breast in it and they came out great as well. I am loving my Green Earth pan and I will continue to use it everyday. I recommend this great pan for everyone, whether you’re the type to cook everyday, or just once in a while I can bet that this will be your new favorite just after using it once!

Mash’Ems and Fash’Ems super squishy toys for kids *Review*

I was way too excited to get the chance to review Mash’Ems and Fash’Ems by Tech 4 Kids. I have two very playful kids and so when it comes to toys I appreciate ones that aren’t going to break anything or hurt anyone if they are thrown let’s say by a one year old who thinks every toy is a ball. Lol!

I’m going to talk about the Fash’Ems first. Leilani loves creative play and has an imagination like no other so when she seen her new Hello Kitty and My Little Pony squishy toys that she could dress up, it was love at first sight. These toys are so adorable. They are liquid filled and so squishy that is super easy to put their little fashion accessories on them and take them off. Hello Kitty comes with a cute little Fairy dress, wand and tiara. The other Hello Kitty toys are dressed up like a bunny and a lamb (those clothes are not removable). My Little Pony comes with a princess cape and tiara. Leilani plays with these everyday. She loves dressing them up and squishing them. We received some of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle crew and also some Marvel characters.
