When it comes to sunglasses you may just think they are a fashion statement, but really they are SO much more! Children’s Sunglasses are a necessity not just an accessory.
Here is some more information I took from Real Kids Shades Website
Doctor Recommended
Real Kids Shades are the doctor recommended sunblock you can apply directly to your kids’ eyes. They’re made with shatterproof, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses because it’s the best stuff kids’ sunglasses can be made from. Our Xylex frames are super light and durable while our TPE frames are extremely flexible and bendable. Our wrap-around frames minimize exposure to harmful peripheral light. Opticians can even fit some of our styles with prescription lenses. These are just a few of the reasons why doctors like Real Kids Shades.
Made Just for Kids
Real Kids Shades are specifically constructed to fit kids’ faces and their lifestyles. Our My First Shades line was designed with the help of a pediatric ophthalmologist for optimal fit, comfort and safety. All our sunglasses are made exclusively for infants and children in kid-approved styles that are shatterproof, impact-resistant and adaptable to sports and active lifestyles.
Kids need to be active, outdoors and in their sunglasses. Made to be worn year-round, our banded frames fit just as well under ski helmets as they do bike helmets. Our patented neoprene bands with Velcro® adjustable closures keep them secure and in place on the court or in the yard. And they’re tough. Real Kids Shades are made to be outgrown before worn out.
Comfortable, Durable and Good-Looking
All Real Kids shades are comfortable (so kids will wear them), durable (so they stand up to kid life), and good-looking (so they get used). They’re serious sunglasses fabricated with the same high-quality materials and to the same exacting standards as adult shades. We don’t believe your kids deserve anything less.
I picked out the Breeze-Kid 4+ for my daughter and Explorer 2+ for my son. Real Kids Shades take the sizing factor very serious, which is why they offer 5 different sizing options. My favorite thing about these glasses is the adjustable (and removable) strap. Children are so active and that strap makes sure their sunglasses do not fall off or move out of place while they run and play outside in those harmful rays. These sunglasses are as important as sunblock! I also love that they are impact resistant and shatterproof. Unlike my 1 year old, my 3 year old does not like wearing the strap, so it is great that it is so easily removable and incase they happen to fall off it is reassuring knowing that they won’t break.
I also LOVE that they are flex fit. My daughter has the tendency to take off her sunglasses and play with them sometimes and with any other sunglasses, she normally breaks them…but not her Real Kids Shades. They are very flexible and fit her so great and comfortably she doesn’t even bother with them while she’s playing
I highly recommend Real Kids Shades for every and any child. Nothing is more important than keeping our kids healthy and safe. Especially when its something so simple like a pair of sunglasses. For only a little under $15 a pair for a high quality pair of glasses that will last until your child outgrows them, they are a MUST HAVE!
